1. General

The general conditions of sale described below apply to all products and services sold only through the Treegether SA e-commerce site. They define the rights and obligations of the parties.

Treegether SA reserves the right to modify the content and form of these general conditions of sale at any time.

2. Products

The products visible on the e-commerce site and the inventory status of the product displayed in real time on the site are purely indicative and do not constitute offers from Treegether SA.

Treegether SA undertakes to make the necessary efforts so that the photographic representation of the products and services offered for sale on the e-commerce site is as faithful as possible to reality. However, with regard to the mode of presentation of these products on the Internet, it is possible that the customer’s perception of the photographic representation of the products does not correspond exactly to the products themselves.

3. Personal data

Treegether SA undertakes to respect the confidentiality of personal data communicated by customers on the e-commerce site and to process them in accordance with legal obligations.

Treegether SA transmits personal data to third parties only if they are essential for the proper execution of the order.

No data will be passed on to third parties for commercial purposes.

Customer data may be used by the internal services of Treegether SA:

For the processing of orders, deliveries and invoices
To obtain your opinion in order to improve our products and services
The customer is given the opportunity to refuse the sending by Treegether SA of invitation or commercial communication emails, when registering for the first time. This functionality can be changed at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter.

The customer agrees to provide the personal information necessary for the management of his order (delivery and invoicing). These must be correct, valid and up to date. The information relating to his identification and password must be kept secret by the customer.

4. Sales process

4.1. Orders and renewal

Once the desired product is selected, it is placed in the “basket” by the button “sponsor these trees”. The customer can then continue their selection of items, modify their shopping cart or continue with the order process and pay.

The validation of the order by the customer means the acceptance of the general conditions of sale. Once the order has been validated and paid for, the customer receives order confirmation information by email.

Tree sponsorships are valid for one year from the day the order is paid. They may be renewed by the Client after sending an information e-mail to the Client informing him of the end of the sponsorship.

4.2. Price

The prices mentioned on the e-commerce site are indicated including all taxes, including the costs of preparing and shipping the order.

Treegether SA reserves the right to modify the prices and other costs displayed on the e-commerce site without notice and at any time. However, the products will be invoiced to the customer on the basis of the prices in force at the time of validation of the order.

4.3. Secured payments

Orders can be paid with:

Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard)
TWINT (for Switzerland only)

Payment is made on the secure banking servers of Treegether SA’s partners, as mentioned above. This implies that no banking information about the Customer passes through the sites of Treegether SA. Payment by credit card is therefore perfectly secure.

The order will be recorded and validated upon acceptance of payment by the payment system chosen by the Customer. Their order will be validated and their card automatically debited when the order is recorded.

The Customer must complete the registration form which is on the website before being able to validate an order. The details of the Customer’s payment card are encrypted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) and never pass unencrypted over the network. The advance payment is made directly to the bank. The card number is not sent to Treegether SA.

4.4. Delivery

Treegether SA ensures the shipment of goods sold through the e-commerce site. The products and / or services will be sent to the delivery address that the customer will have indicated during the ordering process.

The products will be sent by post after their production twice during the year of sponsorship. In case of temperature which could alter the product, shipments will be delayed.

In the event of a stock shortage or supply incident, Treegether SA undertakes to deliver the missing item as soon as possible or to offer a replacement solution.

4.5. Returns, withdrawal and refund

Upon reception of the product by the customer, the latter has a right of withdrawal of 14 days to return the delivered product, the return costs being at his cexpense. Only products purchased through the e-commerce site, and returned in their intact individual protective packaging (unopened and in their original packaging) will be eligible for a refund.

The procedure to follow is as follows:

  • The customer sends an email to info@treegether.com to request a return
  • The customer returns the goods at his expense to the following address:

The product must be complete, properly protected, in its original packaging, with the individual protective packaging intact (unopened), accompanied by all possible accessories.

The product must be accompanied by:

  • the order number
  • the name of the person returning the order

The product is controlled by the internal services of Treegether SA who will validate or not the reimbursement. If the product meets the return requirements, it may be subject to a refund or an exchange. Otherwise, it will be returned to the customer who will not be able to obtain a refund.

5. Applicable law

These general conditions of sale, as well as any sale to which they apply, are subject to Swiss law. Any dispute arising from, or in connection with these general conditions of sale or any sale to which they apply, will be settled according to Swiss law, whether this dispute is of a contractual or tort nature, or whether it is based on another clause. The application of the 1980 United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is expressly excluded. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is in Fribourg, Switzerland.

6. Original text

The general conditions of Treegether SA are written in French. The English version is only put at the Customer’s disposal for indication. In case of contradiction, the French version prevails.
